Protectapeel Deckstrip is a weather resistant strippable protective coating, designed to provide protection for a number of surfaces which can be stored externally for periods up to 12 months.

Deckstrip will withstand substantial foot traffic and being skin-tight will prevent staining from paint overspray, spillage and scratching.

It can be used over contoured non-skid walkways and, being water resistant, will function satisfactorily when subjected to standing water inside boat moulds.

How It Works

During construction Spraylat Deckstrip operates as a skin tight coating applied to the non-skid GRP and other surfaces to protect from damage caused by staining, surface scratches from air hoses, electrical cables and hand tools, preventing costly clean-up upon completion.

The Spraylat Deckstrip is a water borne non toxic and non hazardous dispersion which peels away cleanly leaving no residue and will not damage plastics or painted surfaces.

The product is specially formulated to provide good early onset water resistance, and good UV ageing properties.

• stainless steel fittings

Strippable coating for protecting metals, GRP, stoved paints, glass reinforced fibre moulds and components. Deckstrip is suitable for most cured paints used in the Marine Industry.

The compound is water-borne, non-toxic and non-flammable in the wet state. The dry film can be disposed of as low hazard.
