Altair Tower


The Altair tower is the tallest residential building in Colombo, Sri Lanka designed by the acclaimed Moshe Safdie. The Altair stands at an imposing 240 metres and 69 stories tall, comprising of over 400 residential units boasting majestic views of wonders such as the Beira Lake, the Indian Ocean and the city of Colombo itself. The two-leg stepping structure creates a sublime vertical cascade of garden terraces along its height. This exquisite sight is complemented by a magnificent communal space sky garden that is located at its summit, making for a phenomenal sight to behold.
The building has approximately 25,000sqm of window glass, which has been thoroughly protected from scratching, paint, mortar and other costly damages by Protectapeel.
Protectapeel was meticulously applied on both internal and external surfaces on this resplendent tower, thus eliminating costs of repairing, replacing, or cleaning surfaces. This ensures that budgets and schedules were strictly adhered to.
