Metal Protection

The Ritecoat System™

A durable, ‘Non-stick’ and Easy-clean coating for stainless steel, aluminium, other metals and powder coated surfaces.

Why Choose Ritecoat®

Metal framework and panels on the exterior of buildings are easy to clean and appear pristine when new. However, they become increasingly difficult to clean and keep clean upon exposure to natural weathering and chemical attack. This results in staining and discolouration, causing the metal to appear lifeless.

Introduced in 1991, the Ritecoat System™ has been specially developed for the on-site renovation, protection and maintenance of aluminium, stainless steel and other metals and powder coated surfaces.

The Ritecoat System™ is a surface protection system that is thin, tough, transparent and versatile, upgrading ordinary, high maintenance surfaces into low-maintenance, ‘non-stick’ easy-clean surfaces.

How Ritecoat® Works?

Working like ‘non-stick’ cookware, surfaces treated with the Ritecoat System™…

  • resist staining and discolouration, including weathering, graffiti and chemical attack, keeping their ‘as-new’ appearance and performance for much longer
  • are much easier to clean and maintain, eliminating the need for harsh and abrasive cleaning methods
  • look cleaner and brighter for longer between cleaning – improving the surface’s general appearance and customer satisfaction

The Ritecoat System™ has been proven successful in architectural, marine and transportation markets. It has achieved countless track records in all types of conditions throughout the world.

Case Study

HKCEC Roof Soffit has been renovated and protected with the Ritecoat System™

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) was built along the magnificent and renowned Victoria Harbour, linked by covered walkways to nearby hotels and commercial buildings. Every year about 1,200 events are held at the HKCEC, these events contribute significant economic benefits to the city, and help raise the international image of Hong Kong.

As the site of the transfer of Hong Kong from British rule on July 1, 1997, the facility became symbolic of the new freedom of Hong Kong.

The current structure was completed from 1997 to 1999. With the height over 100 feet from ceiling to floor and the unique shape of the roof, the soffit panel had not been cleaned more than 15 years. It had been badly stained, discoloured and corroded by the harsh marine environment.

The Ritecoat System™ certified applicators CoxGomyl Hong Kong Limited & Creative Concept Construction Co., Ltd undertook the challenging job to renovate and apply Ritecoat® to the roof soffit panel. As the result, the roof is back to its original sparkle,
